Our Team
Dina Cline
Dina Cline is a working artist and a recent graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago MFA program. She has a BA in Visual Art and Philosophy. She lives on the island of Maui, and her practice is currently focused on helping artists who have been directly impacted by the fire disasters on the island. She has participated in many art exhibitions on the island, and is an alum of the Lahaina Arts Society. She serves as the Director of GAI.
Spencer Wright
Spencer Wright has a degree in Finance from Western Washington University, and is assisting the Maui Artist Haven Project by keeping the accounting in order. He is also a Maui business owner, and equal parts woodworker and kitesurfer. He serves as the VP of GAI.
Taryn Alessandro
Taryn is a classically trained painter with a BFA from Bostin University. She has studied at Lyme Academy of Fine Arts, Decordova Museum School, and abroad. She currently resides on Maui where island living inspires much of her work.
Lyle Krannichfeld
Lyle Krannichfeld has been a full time landscape, underwater and wildlife photographer and instructor on Maui for the last decade. He and his family own Pueo Gallery in Paia and feature his large scale prints as well as his wife Rebecca's work, who is also a full time working artist. They live upcountry in Makawao with their 16 year old daughter.
